The National Mission for Manuscripts is running successfully since 7th February 2003 having the objectives to survey, document, preserve, conserve, digitize manuscripts and finally to upload the output in the website for the benefit of the public as well as scholarly world. But without people to use the database and engage with the knowledge in manuscripts, the Mission’s activities would have little relevance. In this connection, the mission started the ‘Tattvabodha’ series of lectures under “Public Lecture” scheme of the Mission on monthly basis to bring finest scholars of various fields to the platform where they could present their ideas and interact with each other as well as with scholars and researchers of other fields.
